The Art House Collective is delighted to announce the 1954 Mercedes-Benz W196 Streamliner, as its featured car for 2027.

There are beautiful cars, important cars, and victorious cars. The W196 Streamliner is all three. Its impossibly low, enclosed-wheel coachwork transformed aerodynamic thinking into something sculptural. It was shaped to go fast, and it did.

For the Art House Collective, W196 R represents something exceedingly rare: championship-winning engineering that ascends to the level of art.
